ट्यूबवैल आपरेटर या नलकूप चालक की लिखित परीक्षा 2 सितंबर 2018 में होना प्रस्तावित था। Admit Card/ Hall Ticket अगस्त के अन्तिम सप्ताह में डाउनलोड भी कर लिये गये और नलकूप आपरेटर की नौकरी पाने के लिए 200640 आवेदकों ने आवेदन किया था। जिनके लिए प्रस्तावित पद 3210 हैं। आवेदकों ने लिखित परीक्षा की तैयारी हिन्दी परिज्ञान एवं लेखन योग्यता 25 अंक, सामान्य बुद्धि परीक्षण एवं प्रारम्भिक गणित 35 अंक, ट्रेड से सम्बन्धित प्रश्न 60 अंक, का गहन अध्ययन करके परीक्षा देने पहुंचे कि पेपर लीक होने के कारण परीक्षा स्थगित करनी पडी।
